New GLA-backed initiative will connect employers,聽educators聽and learners to strengthen London鈥檚 creative talent pipeline

叠补耻别谤听惭别诲颈补聽has聽been selected to lead a new pan-London Creative Industries Sector Hub, backed by funding from the聽Greater London Authority (GLA)聽over the next three years.

The Creative Industries Sector Hub,聽led by聽叠补耻别谤听惭别诲颈补鈥檚聽Bauer Academy聽and聽in partnership with聽National Theatre, UKFT聽and聽CineCertified,聽will become a central resource for London’s creative sector. It will聽bring together employers, education providers and industry organisations to help address skills shortages, support career聽progression聽and create clearer pathways into聽the creative industries.

Serving businesses, freelancers, further education providers and learners across the capital, the聽programme聽will聽provide聽practical guidance, strengthen industry聽partnerships聽and help ensure London’s creative workforce has the skills needed for the future.

Initially, the hub will focus on developing pilot programmes in collaboration with the GLA and industry partners. It will then expand its offer to include curriculum development, employer engagement, apprenticeship and careers support聽and signposting to training and employment opportunities.

Industry collaboration will be central to the聽initiative’s approach. Working closely with employers and freelancers, the hub will undertake research into current and emerging skills needs to help shape future training provision and careers support across the capital.

Bauer Academy will recruit a dedicated team to deliver the聽programme, working closely with employers and stakeholders across London’s creative economy to develop initiatives that respond directly to industry needs.
